What is a Migraine?

It’s not just a headache. Migraines are totally debilitating and can leave you in bed for hours or days. The extreme throbbing is often on one side of the head. The onset of a Migraine can sometimes be predicted with an ‘Aura’, a visual disturbance with flashes of light or blind spots. Others can feel tingling or difficulty speaking beforehand or craving foods and feeling thirsty.

What Are The Symptoms of Migraines?

  • Sensitivity to light, movement and sound
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea
  • Irritability
  • Vision changes
  • Vomiting
