FAQs

If you have any other questions other than the ones listed here, you may find answers in our ‘About’ or ‘Journal & Resources’ sections. For anything else, please get in touch!

How many people are in each workshop?

To keep the experience supportive and interactive, workshops are limited to 3–10 participants. Smaller groups allow everyone the opportunity to reflect, ask questions and engage with the discussions at their own pace.

What if I can’t make one of the advertised dates?

New workshop dates are added regularly. If none of the current dates work for you, click here to send me a message and I’ll be happy to let you know when new workshops are released.

Can I book a private workshop for a group of friends or family?

Absolutely. A private workshop can be a wonderful way to explore these ideas with people you already know and trust. If you have a group who would like to attend together, click here to send me a message and we’ll arrange a date that works for everyone.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you’re unable to attend after booking, we’ll usually offer you the opportunity to transfer your place to a future workshop rather than provide a refund. We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and these will always be considered on an individual basis.

How Many Sessions Will I Need And How Long Are They?

Every person is different, however 6-12 one hour sessions are quite average, with some needing less or more. Please note that however long your journey is, I will support you through it and you’d always be welcome to book the occasional one-off sessions when life throws a curve ball, or you just need to have a supportive refresh and reset.

For the first few weeks, sessions will be held weekly, then we can move to every 2 weeks, then monthly.

What results will I achieve with this mind-body coaching?

Results vary between individuals, dependent on a variety of factors. Clients who engage fully with the process often notice small but meaningful changes quickly, building confidence and momentum toward lasting wellbeing. Whether you’re experiencing stress, overwhelm, or physical symptoms related to emotional imbalance, these tools can help you restore balance and enhance your quality of life.

Are you a qualified coach?

I am a qualified MBR practitioner and have full certification with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) as a Health and Wellness Consultant. I have foundation diplomas in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) which provides insights with clients who have already tried these techniques.

What programme or techniques does your coaching follow?

I am a qualified Mind-Body Reconnect (MBR) practitioner. The foundations of this programme are founded on the research of Dr Gabor Mate and Dr Mickel amongst others. My approach combines evidence-based tools and techniques with a deep understanding of how stress shows up in both the mind and body after many years of personal study.

Is your coaching similar to Mickel Therapy or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy?

There are many similarities between the coaching I offer and Mickel Therapy. I have a deep understanding of the Mickel Therapy approach but also appreciate some of the broader knowledge from leading experts in the mind-body field, such as Dr. Gabor Maté whose work is incorporated into the programme I have trained in.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

I have a good understanding of CBT having studied a foundation diploma. CBT can focus on changing the thought patterns of the ‘thinking’ brain. There may also be in-depth discussion of the past and trauma related events.

Mind-Body Therapy does not try to change your thinking, nor does the therapy require re-living the past. We work with both your ‘thinking brain’ and your ’emotional brain’ which do not function in isolation. As you learn to work with these two centres of intelligence in the present and respond more appropriately to your body’s communication with you, better regulation, fulfilment and balance can return.

Is there anything I need to do in advance of my first session?

You will be sent a confidential client information form, which should be completed online before our first session.

Do You Provide A Session Summary?

Yes! I offer to provide a concise overview of our discussion after each session with reminders about anything we’ve agreed to work on before we next meet. In order to provide this, I will request your approval to use the needed software.

How Are One to One Sessions Held?

Sessions are held on Zoom. I am based in the UK but have an international client base, so please reach out wherever you are and we will make the time difference work. During our session it would be helpful for you to find a quiet location where you feel comfortable and can talk in total privacy.

How Do I Start One to One Coaching?

STEP 1: Book a discovery call so we can determine if this therapy is right for you and if we’d make a good team.

STEP 2: Begin your tailored sessions via Zoom, starting weekly, but quickly transitioning to longer intervals.

STEP 3: Enjoy the results as you learn to become better regulated, boundaried and authentic.

How Many One to One Coaching Sessions Will I Need?

Every client is different, depending on your personal situation and commitment. Between 6-12 sessions is common. Our joint goal is to give you the skill set to navigate life in a way that is authentic, regulated and fulfilling. With this, you become your own coach, and my job is done!
