Standard medical opinion does not fully understand the cause of Fibromyalgia, which seems to affect more women than men, with onset often in adulthood.

What Are The Symptoms of Fibromyalgia?

Symptoms sometimes associated with Fibromyalgia may include:

  • Chronic and Extreme Fatigue (at its most severe, leaving people bed bound)
  • Chronic Back Pain, Foot Pain & Chest Pain including Rib Pain
  • Cognitive Issues, Brain Fog (Fibro-Fog)
  • Insomnia
  • Tension Headaches
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

Common Treatments For Fibromyalgia

There is currently no recognised cure for Fibromyalgia. Most are helped to manage it with strong pain killers, sleep medication, muscle relaxants along with suggested exercise and stress-reduction measures.
