When My Body Said ‘No’
Hi, I’m Karen.
For years, I believed being busy, capable and dependable meant giving everything I had. From the outside, life looked successful. But beneath the surface, I was constantly stretched, overwhelmed and slowly losing touch with myself.
Throughout my career in marketing and communications, I gave 100% to everything I did. I often said “yes” when I really meant “no”, pushing myself to keep going even when something didn’t feel right.
Although I appeared confident and capable, internally I was operating beyond a healthy balance. Over time, the pressure I’d been carrying began to show up physically through anxiety, panic attacks, low energy, fatigue and emotional ups and downs. It became clear that my mind and body were asking for a different way forward.

A Different Way Forward
That experience led me to explore the relationship between stress, emotions and physical wellbeing, and to better understand the messages my body had been trying to communicate for so long. I discovered that small, intentional changes can create meaningful shifts in how we feel, work and live.

Today, I feel incredibly privileged to support people who find themselves in a place that once felt very familiar to me. My role isn’t to tell people what to do or have all the answers. It’s to provide a calm, supportive space where we can make sense of what’s been happening, understand the patterns behind it and discover practical ways to move forward.
Every person’s story is different, which is why every coaching relationship is tailored to the individual. Whether someone is living with stress, emotional overwhelm, persistent physical symptoms or simply feels disconnected from themselves, my aim is always the same: to help them better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change.
If any part of my story feels familiar, I’d love to talk. Taking the first step can feel daunting, but with the right support it’s possible to reconnect with yourself and move forward in a way that feels calmer, clearer and more sustainable.
